Welcome to a special Footy Edition of my 1000 Paper Crane Series — where loyalty, rivalry, colour and community collide.

Each crane in this drop is painted from the visual language of the game: bold stripes, familiar colours, and patterns that carry decades of memories. From grand final glory to muddy local grounds, these works celebrate the teams we grow up with, argue about, and love anyway.

Alongside the NRL cranes, this round also includes a small selection of local favourites — a quiet nod to weekend footy, community clubs, and the places where the love of the game really begins.
